Bemer Technology Benefits and Science Behind it

One of the most significant problems for modern man is his sedentary and inactive way of life.

In order for our body to stay healthy, but also heal and regenerate its cells, it needs to move and be active.

By doing this, we slow down our body’s aging processes, as well as slow down or eliminate any pathological processes that are occurring.

What many fail to recognize is that the human body needs to be healthy at the cellular level, in order to be fully in harmony.

If we cannot see a pathological process, it does not mean that it is not there.

And if we aren’t aware of its presence, it is having detrimental effects on our body without our even knowing it.

Even if you do not have enough time to be fully active and exercise, you can keep your cells healthy by utilizing Bemer therapy.

All you need is a couple of minutes of your time every day in order to reap all its benefits.

Once Bemer technology detects any cellular defects, it starts returning balance back to these cells.

It can work alone, or it can work in conjunction with other Bemer therapies.

The positive effects of Bemer therapy were very well known as far back as the middle of the 20th century.

Nowadays, however, there are more than 2000 different studies that confirm all of these beneficial effects.

Over time, Bemer technology has been used both by medical practitioners and also by regular people who have used it in their homes.

Bemer therapy is based on PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic fields), which can greatly improve the condition of muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, joints, and cartilage.

They also decrease pain and improve cellular regulation.

Bemer therapy is accepted and regulated in many countries around the world:

  • The USFDA approves the use of Bemer technology for treating bone fractures, muscle stimulation, urinary incontinence, and depression and anxiety.
  • Canada approves Bemer therapy for many conditions.
  • Israel approves it for migraine treatment.
  • The EU accepts Bemer therapy as an aid in the recovery from and treatment of motion illnesses.
  • In Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, Bemer technology is being used for treating cancer.

What are PEMFs?

PEMF is the abbreviation for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field treatment.

This therapy consists of having strong, pulsed energy waves directed toward the injured parts of a person’s body.

When these waves pass through the human body, they do it quickly and without any painful sensation.

They increase the spin of electrons in the cells and improve healing.

When this electron spin is increased, the cell’s energy is improved, as well, and its healing is regulated.

Unlike some other treatments, utilizing PEMF and Bemer therapy causes beneficial effects that last for up to four days after the session.

The easiest way to understand how PEMF and Bemer technology work is to imagine that your cells function as tiny batteries.

Like any battery, the cell can discharge and its energy can run low.

In our body’s case, this happens because of old age, excessive stress, not enough rest, various damage, and so on.

Cells depleted of energy find it very hard to fight off illnesses and stay healthy.

By using Bemer therapy, the cells (“batteries”) are recharged and have enough power to repel disease and avoid injury.

This way, your overall health can be restored naturally, just by the passing of these electromagnetic waves through the body.

Therefore, Bemer therapy and PEMF are essential “battery chargers” for your cells.

What Frequency is Best?

Electromagnetic waves are measured in Hertz (Hz), which is how many cycles a wave makes in a second.

Frequency is related to wavelength.

Many PEMF devices use different wavelengths, from 1Hz all the way up to 10,000Hz.

However, different cells, parts of the body, organs, and diseases all operate at different frequencies and create their unique biological window.

In order to affect them, we need to address that exact same window and respond to their frequencies.

The human body and the Earth, as shown by studies, operate at the same frequency.

For example, our brain, as shown by EEG, operates at frequencies between 0-30Hz.

But some studies also show that our body can even emit these frequencies.

Bemer technology aims to address these most relevant frequencies because that is the only way to make sure that the treatment will give positive results.

What is the Importance of a Biorhythm Clock?

Even though the body can operate at all frequencies in the 0-30Hz spectrum, this changes somewhat depending on the time of day.

Therefore, we need to align our frequencies to the specific part of the day, or else our body will experience stress.

For example, studies show that even the Earth has its biorhythmic clock.

This means that during the day, earth’s frequency is higher than during the night, so ours is as well.

Thus, in the morning, you want to wake up fully and stop the production of melatonin (sleep hormone), so you need to run at faster frequencies.

You should adjust your Bemer therapy to the 15-30Hz range.

Before going to bed, it is better to use lower frequencies, i.e. in the 0-7Hz range, in order to hinder the production of cortisol (stress hormone), so aim for the theta-delta frequencies.

This way, your body will always be in alignment with the Earth’s field, and it will operate in the most natural way.

How Do You Know the Ideal Intensity?

When it comes to the PEMF treatment’s intensity, more is definitely not better.

As a matter of fact, very strong electromagnetic intensity can be harmful to cells, and do more bad than good.

Therefore, as with frequency, you want to aim for an intensity that is similar to natural.

This intensity is 30-60 uT (micro-Tesla).

Some PEMF devices out there advertise very strong intensities, but this is a marketing trick. Safe intensity is below 100 micro-Tesla (or 1.0 Gauss).

But it is best to adjust your intensity to Earth’s, and Bemer technology can safely operate in the 30-60 uT range.

Human cells are very sensitive, and they can recognize even the slightest changes in magnetic field, even though we are not aware of this.

For that reason as well, it is best to stick with low intensity.

Why are Bemer Mats Unique?

Bemer mats that are used for Bemer therapy are produced in Liechtenstein, and they have been in use for about 17 years.

Bemer is short for Bio Electro Magnetic Energy Regulation, and it utilizes a complex wave that was discovered by Dr. Wolf Kafka.

The intensity range that a Bemer mat offers is between 3.5-35 uT.

As we mentioned, the intensity of Earth’s magnetic field is around 30 uT, so Bemer technology is in perfect sync.

However, it also has an intensive application which can go up to 100 uT on B.PAD and B.SPOT.

The Bemer mat is able to reverse polarity every two minutes and has 2 frequency settings for 33 Hz and 10 Hz.

This way, it can perfectly sync with your biorhythm clock both during the day and night.

One more feature that makes Bemer therapy unique is that it is FDA-registered, which means it abides by many safety regulations, thus supporting its credibility.

Health Benefits of Bemer Therapy

Bemer Therapy and the PEMF waves it uses have many positive health effects on the human body.

These have been confirmed by many studies, and there are new ones every day that offer additional credibility.

Bemer therapy can help us with simple issues like fatigue and limited range of motion, to more serious ones like depression, arthritis, bone healing, and more.

In addition to addressing pathological states, it can also just help our body to stay in good condition, and increase its resistance to adverse external and internal factors.

Let’s learn a little bit more about some of the biggest health benefits that Bemer technology provides.

Faster Cell Regeneration

For evidence of Bemer therapy’s effects on cell regeneration, we can turn to a study that was published in 1986 in the Annals of Plastic Surgery.

It sought to determine the relationship between PEMF and the healing of soft tissue.

Arguably, the study showed that PEMF had little effect on damaged soft tissue, or wound healing, as it was intended to determine.

Nonetheless, scientists agree there needs to be more research before there are definitive answers to this question (1).

Arthritis Treatment

According to Indian researchers, there is definitive proof that the use of PEMF (Bemer technology) can treat many arthritis symptoms.

This study was published in 1998 and showed evidence that PEMF has many beneficial effects on rheumatoid arthritis (2).

Alleviates Depression

Based on a study conducted back in 2000, PEMF, or Bemer, therapy can have very positive effects on the motor activity and emotional behavior of rats.

The results of this study showed that applying PEMF frequency in the range of 4-6Hz helped to decrease the negative consequences that fear and anxiety had on these rats (3).

Improved Circulation

The Journal of Orthopedic Research published a study in 2004 that tried to find a positive correlation between PEMF stimulation and the function of arteriolar microvessels.

This study was not conducted on humans, but on rats.

The diameter of their arteries was measured both before PEMF stimulation and after it.

The study’s conclusion was that PEMF stimulation had positive effects on blood vessels, and caused vasodilation.

Furthermore, local use of PEMF, or Bemer therapy, can cause a significant widening in blood vessels, and in that way improve circulation (4).

Decreases Diabetes Symptoms

A study was published in 2003, conducted on 121 patients who were suffering from diabetic polyneuropathy.

This research helped to illuminate a correlation that exists between diabetic polyneuropathy and the use of PEMF.

During this study, there were clear signs that the use of PEMF helps with the main symptoms of diabetic polyneuropathy, and has positive effects on the peripheral nerves and motor neurons located in the spine which are all affected by the disease.

Because of this, we can conclude that Bemer technology and PEMF have positive effects in treating DPN, as well as diabetes mellitus (5).

Alleviates Migraines

The effects that PEMF has on migraine were observed in 1999, in the US, in a study that was conducted on 42 patients who were suffering from this condition.

After two months of treatments, all 42 patients reported fewer and less severe migraines.

We can conclude then that undergoing Bemer therapy for a minimum of three weeks can help alleviate migraines, at least in the short term (6).

Improves Bone Healing

A study was conducted in 1999 in Bangladesh that found evidence that PEMF application can improve bone healing.

Unfortunately, the full mechanism of action is not yet clear, but further research is being done in order to support these findings (7).

Improves Range of Motion

Clinical Rheumatology published a study in 1996 that showed a correlation between the use of PEMF and range of motion, as well as the incidence of pain that patients who suffer from cervical osteoarthritis experience.

Thirty-four patients participated in the research, and when the treatment was finished they showed positive results.

All of them experienced less neck pain and fewer muscle spasms and reported a better range of motion as a consequence (8).

Decreases Pain

A study conducted in 1993 published in the European Journal of Surgery demonstrated short-term relief in pain after a brief exposure to PEMF.

A special focus of the study was pelvic pain, so arguably Bemer therapy can cause relief in this area, as well, for patients (9).

Causes Nerve Repair

A study was done in 1993 to investigate PEMF therapy’s effects on sciatic nerve damage.

The results were quite positive and concluded that PEMF pretreatment stimulated rats’ sciatic nerve.

This tells us that PEMF and Bemer therapy can stimulate the body’s nerve cells and support their function (10).

Conclusion

Conventional medicine is beneficial and helps to treat many pathologies. However, it often has side effects.

With Bemer therapy and the Bemer technology that it uses, you will only receive the treatment’s positive effects and no negative ones.

For that reason, PEMF and Bemer therapy are gaining momentum as treatments, and are becoming more and more popular for those patients who are not finding relief in modern medicine.

You can be one of them, as well!
