Omnium 1 Mat Review

Several years ago, I first encountered the benefits of PEMF therapy.

I started by exploring PEMF with the Omnium 1 mat, but fell in love with the therapy only when I got my first Healthyline TAO-MAT-8040P.

That is why I felt it was important to share the knowledge I acquired in this process with you, and provide you with a comparison of these two devices.

They both come with some great features, but of the two the Healthyline is best.

Before that, let’s see why you should consider PEMF therapy in the first place.

PEMF Benefits Summary

PEMF therapy is very beneficial in so many ways.

That is why various PEMF mats and devices have seen a surge in popularity in recent years.

The unique property of pulsed electromagnetic frequencies is that they can be used not only by those who are sick, but by healthy people, as well.

PEMF therapy is completely noninvasive, and harmless to all living beings.

That is why it can be used by people who do not have any apparent health issues, but who want to play it safe and prevent any from developing.

When we start noticing the symptoms of a disease, it means that it has already fully developed and spread around our body.

PEMF therapy is capable of detecting faulty cells in our body and bringing them back into balance.

It serves as a charger to cells which are usually depleted of energy and fatigued, and stops them from pushing other cells out of balance, as well.

However, PEMF can help your pets and your plants, too.

Because on the cellular level all living beings are very similar, there is little difference in benefits for yourself and your pets.

PEMF has been used for years on horses, especially race horses, which are more susceptible to muscle and tendon injuries.

Many health benefits that are possible to achieve with PEMF are scientifically-proven through numerous studies.

We’ll learn more about this later, but let’s just take a look at the most popular ones:

  • Pain relief
  • Arthritis relief
  • Improved blood flow
  • Reduced depression symptoms
  • Reduced migraine symptoms
  • Nerve repair
  • Wound healing
  • Inflammation treatment

Omnium 1 Review

The Omnium 1 is the only PEMF device on the market that uses Android technology.

It is the same tech that is available in Android smartphones.

It comes with the preinstalled Kit-Kat 4.4 operating system, which allows you to use Android applications and Wi-Fi, send and receive emails, and so on.

This device is designed and produced in Switzerland, which tells you a lot about its quality.

The Swiss are famous for their precision craftsmanship, which can be seen in the Omnium 1 as well.

Some of the benefits and conveniences that Omnium 1 offers are that you can simply charge the Android tablet and use it for around 6 hours before having to plug it in again.

This allows you to be completely mobile, and to use it in various locations.

Moreover, with the convenient back pad, you can even use it in your car or when traveling on public transportation.

Because of the Android tablet, it is incredibly easy to select settings.

You will also have a much better overview of which settings you are currently running, and what is happening with the mat and your session.

The Omnium 1 reverses polarity every two minutes in order to prevent the body from getting used to the same settings.

This way, you can use the device for much longer, while receiving the same degree of benefits.

Another positive feature of the Android system is that it gives you access to the iGuide on the tablet with more than 3500 different protocols for different diseases.

You can thus easily choose the correct settings for the health condition that you want to target.

However, there are two points of which you need to wary when considering the Omnium 1.

First of all, the fact that you control it using a tablet means that some people might find it difficult to operate.

If you are not tech-savvy and you do not know your way around modern gadgets, you might have problems using it, in the beginning.

The second issue is the price. This is a relatively expensive mat because of its technology; the price starts at around $3000.

Healthyline TAO-MAT-8040P Review

The Healthyline TAO-MAT-8040P aims to provide the greatest number of benefits in one device, and it succeeds.

In the first place, this mat is a PEMF device, and provides all of the health benefits of pulsed electromagnetic therapy.

However, it also has FIR benefits, and produces negative ions.

FIR radiation has numerous health advantages, some of which are related to pain, sleeping patterns, metabolism issues, and numerous other diseases.

Negative ions are also very good for you, and they mostly have a protective role.

For example, all of the electric devices that you use and encounter on a daily basis produce something called electromagnetic pollution.

Negative ions help protect you from this electromagnetic smog.

Moreover, the acronym in Healthyline TAO-MAT-8040P stands for Tourmaline-Amethyst-Obsidian.

These are semi-precious gemstones that have been known for ages for their powerful health benefits.

Even people in ancient times used them to treat and prevent diseases.

What they didn’t know, that we know today, is that by heating gemstones and transferring that heat to our body we increase their health benefits.

It’s also good to know that there are more than 30 lbs. of these stones in the Healthyline mat.

With respect to PEMF settings, the Healthyline produces frequencies of 7.8 Hz, which are in perfect alignment with the Earth’s frequencies.

The Earth’s frequencies are proven to be the best for our body, and the most effective for most diseases.

Perhaps the price is a bit higher than what you would expect for a PEMF mat, but you need to remember that this product is more than that.

For the price of one, you get three devices – a PEMF mat, an FIR device, and a negative ions device.

Moreover, the semi-precious gemstones found in the mat are also pricey, but they are well-worth the investment.

The most important features of the Healthyline TAO-MAT-8040P are:

  • Frequency: 7.8 Hz
  • Intensity: 5-14 um (FIR), 1500/cc (negative ion level)
  • Cost: $1500
  • Warranty: 1 year, plus 5 years optional
  • Non-toxic
  • 45-day return period
  • LED controller display

PEMF Health Benefits

We’ve learned the basics of the PEMF health benefits, but it’s time now to learn about them in more detail.

Numerous studies have been conducted successfully to date, supporting hundreds and hundreds of PEMF benefits.

Let’s take a closer look at what science has to say about this topic.

Offers Pain Relief

Instead of taking harmful painkillers on a daily basis for chronic pain that just won’t go away, you should consider using PEMF therapy.

Painkillers are, without a doubt, very useful, but only in certain cases when the pain is acute and very intense.

If taken for a long time, they can be quite harmful.

Scientists at the International Pain Research Institute conducted a study in 1993 on female patients suffering from chronic pelvic pain caused by gynecological issues.

After several weeks of treatment, all patients reported much lower levels of pain. (1)

Prevents and Slows Down Alzheimer’s

Modern medicine does not yet have a way of treating Alzheimer’s disease successfully.

We only have ways of slowing it down or preventing it, but these are not that effective, either.

Unfortunately, Alzheimer’s today is affecting younger and younger populations, and is no longer seen only in the oldest.

Luckily, PEMF therapy offers a strong way of slowing down and preventing the progression of the disease.

In 2010, scientists at the University of Toronto conducted a study which proved that PEMF changes neurophysiological activity in patients suffering from Alzheimer’s. (2)

Boosts Local Circulation

PEMF therapy promotes local circulation through the process of vasodilatation.

This means that when we apply PEMF stimulation to an area on our body, our blood vessels, especially microvessels, dilate and allow more blood to reach the area.

This was proven by researchers at Wake Forest University in the U.S..

They concluded that these effects are most noticeable on arterial microvessels.

PEMF therapy can also change the charge of red blood cells, and in that way allow them to travel through blood vessels much more efficiently, without any obstructions. (3)

Helps with Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation, also known as heart palpitations, is a health condition that many of us experience from time to time, and that most of us take lightly.

The reality is that it can be a very serious condition if it is overlooked for a long time.

In some cases, it can lead to death.

In 2015, American and Chinese scientists together conducted a study that determined that PEMF stimulation can affect the sinus code in the heart.

This is a system in the heart which controls our heart rhythm.

This way, PEMF keeps atrial fibrillation in check, and protects our health. (4)

PEMF Relieves Symptoms of Arthritis

All of the millions of people who are suffering from arthritis now have a new source of hope.

There are indications that PEMF therapy can successfully treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.

Rheumatoid arthritis affects the joints in our body and causes pain, swelling, and inflammation.

Indian scientists conducted a study in 1998 that proved PEMF stimulation is very beneficial for patients struggling with rheumatoid arthritis.

It was found that the effects are most beneficial for seronegative patients, but that other patients would benefit, as well. (5)

Relieves Symptoms of Glaucoma

Glaucoma is an eye disease that affects the proper flow of fluids in the ocular system.

When these fluids build up, they cause the eye pressure to rise and exert a force on the optic nerve.

Prolonged pressure like this will cause damage to the optic nerve, and lead to impaired vision or a complete loss thereof.

A study was conducted in Russia in 1990 that showed that PEMF therapy could successfully restore the proper flow in the eye, and reduce the eye pressure and the pressure on the optic nerve.

Namely, only seven minutes a day is enough to receive all of these health benefits. (6)

Increases the Efficiency of Antidepressants

Unfortunately, more and more people are struggling with depression, and it is today one of the leading causes of disability in the world.

Antidepressants are the primary form of treatment for these patients, but for at least 30% of them, they do nothing.

Moreover, for some patients, they can even worsen their condition.

According to a Danish study, PEMF therapy can change that.

When PEMF stimulation and antidepressants are taken together, their benefits are much greater, and the possible side effects of antidepressants are much reduced.

PEMF should not be used as a primary approach to treating depression, but as a secondary method, it can be very beneficial. (7)

Slows Development of Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is another disease on this list for which modern medicine does not have a cure.

Unfortunately, PEMF therapy cannot completely cure it, either.

However, it can successfully keep its symptoms in check, and prevent it from developing further.

According to a study conducted in 2003, PEMF therapy can reduce the amount of fatigue that MS patients feel.

This is one of the major symptoms of MS, so decreasing it can greatly improve MS patients’ overall quality of life. (8)

Reduces Migraine Intensity

If you are struggling with frequent migraines, you should know that PEMF therapy can help you with this issue, as well.

It has been proven in a study conducted in 1999 that PEMF can successfully lower the intensity and frequency at which migraines occur.

Moreover, unlike other traditional migraine treatments, PEMF therapy does not have any side effects, and can be safely used for prolonged periods. (9)
