PEMF Therapy Reviews/Testimonials

In this article we are going to explain what types of PEMF therapies exist, how and why they differ, and then we are going to share real testimonials that were sent to us over the years by people who used PEMF to alleviate various issues.

What Is PEMF Therapy?

PEMF therapy in its current form has been used for over 40 years, but has only recently been given a lot of credence in western medicine. Previously relegated to the annals of alternative medicine or snake oil, PEMF therapy has been spurned by many clinics and therapy practitioners who were unwilling to consider its clinical applications. As increasing numbers of research studies evaluate the actual efficacy of PEMF therapy, doctors and therapists have increasingly turned to PEMF therapy as a safe and effective intervention for a host of conditions, interest in PEMF therapy use at home and in clinics has climbed. SO what exactly is PEMF therapy?

PEMF therapy is a type of energy therapy that delivers pulses of electromagnetic energy to the body. Standing for “Pulsed Electromagnetic Field” therapy, PEMF works to target the body’s cells, imparting pulses of energy directly into cells in order to improve cellular communication and enhance basic cellular function. As interest in mitochondrial disorders has increased and interest in safe treatments that do not have serious side effects or carry the risk of addiction, PEMF therapy has become an increasingly viable option.

Unlike many other types of therapy—physical therapy, medication, and the like—PEMF therapy simply supports the body’s existing healing pathways and abilities. As the body ages, or as chronic illness takes hold, the body’s ability to produce and properly utilize energy can decreased. Chronic inflammation, unhealthy cell mutations, and acute injuries can all lead to diminished cellular ability, and PEMF therapy provides lagging cells with a “boost” of energy, in order to resume healthy cellular function and effective communication between different cells and within the cells, themselves.

PEMF Therapy: a History

Although PEMF therapy may seem to be something out of a science fiction novel, it is actually based on simple science and a long history of discovering and evaluating the value of electricity and its corresponding electromagnetic fields. The basis of PEMF therapy is the aforementioned electromagnetic field, which was discovered and further researched at the end of the nineteenth century. The most recognizable name to be tied to PEMF therapy’s inception is Nikola Tesla. Although Tesla was not directly responsible for the creation of PEMF therapy itself, his work is a vital aspect of PEMF’s make up and framework.

Once the electromagnetic field was discovered and research began, researchers and physicians alike began evaluating those fields for any potential uses in medicine. Initially, PEMF therapy-like prototypes focused on eliminating bacteria and other pathogens by using specific frequencies. These prototypes have not aged well, and have largely been debunked, but PEMF therapy itself has persisted, and the ability to deliver energy to the body remains a valuable and important technology for the field of health and wellness.

While PEMF therapy is being evaluated increasingly often, it did enjoy some time in the limelight in the middle of the twentieth century, when NASA evaluated its potential uses as a treatment for astronauts, to stave off depression, bone density loss, and other conditions attributed to the loss of the earth’s natural frequencies. From there, other practitioners developed interest in the technology, and in the late 1970s and 80s, more therapy clinics began to utilize PEMF in their practices, including veterinary clinics.

Components of PEMF: What Makes Up a Therapy Machine?

Although all PEMF therapy companies lay claim to different benefits and abilities, the basics of PEMF therapy machines are fairly consistent and straightforward. The basics are essentially the same across all machines because PEMF therapy is dependent upon a very specific set of parts and pieces, without which the machine would not effectively deliver energy. Some PEMF machines may produce additional therapies or offer other components to “sweeten the deal,” so to speak, but these additional therapies are not always found in PEMF therapy machines, and will not be included below.

Controller

The controller or control box of a PEMF therapy machine is typically the most complicated and most expensive component of PEMF therapy. It is through this device that people select waveform, intensity, and frequency of a treatment, if the machine in question allows for customizability. The controller of a machine can be a small, remote-like device, or can be a large box that requires wheels to move quickly and easily.

The precise type of controller varies from machine to machine and brand to brand. Machines worth their salt will typically provide a more substantial warranty for a machine’s control box, as these are the items that take the most time and effort to repair, should a PEMF therapy machine develop issues.

Delivery Tool

The delivery of PEMF therapy will differ from machine to machine, and may even differ within the same machine. The two most common types of delivery systems are mats and wands, but PEMF therapy can also be delivered through bands, wearable devices, circular applicators, and wrap belts. The delivery tool does not usually significantly impair or improve a machine’s ability to effectively deliver PEMF, and is usually a matter of personal preference rather than a testament to efficacy.

Waveform

The waveform of a PEMF machine describes the shape a PEMF machine makes as it delivers pulses of electromagnetic energy. There are three common waveforms (square, sine, and saw tooth), but there are a virtually limitless number of waveforms that can be used with PEMF therapy machines. The waveform of a machine is very often the component of the machine that companies patent and claim is uniquely able to provide healing, and is often one of the most closely guarded secrets of any given PEMF company.

Frequency

The frequency of a machine describes the number of times a pulse of electromagnetic energy enters and leaves the body. Frequency is measured in Hz, and there are typically two types of machines: low-frequency machines and high-frequency machines. Although it is possible to find high-frequency machines in homes and small clinics, many high-intensity machines are reserved for clinics and veterinary practices, as high intensities are more commonly used with serious conditions or large recipients.

Frequency is important because it identifies the amount of energy being delivered to the body. While a lot of energy might seem to be better, this may not be the case; your cells do not hold onto or utilize a limitless amount of energy, and providing more energy than your body needs would simply mean burning that energy, rather than holding onto it in order to improve cellular function. If you are unsure what type of frequency works for you, you can consult research studies, though most focus on lower-frequency machines.

Intensity

The intensity of a machine is essentially the power of the machine, or the strength of the electromagnetic field. As with frequency, there are two delineations between intensity: high intensity machines and low intensity machines. Low intensity machines are the most frequently studied machines, as these are the most likely devices to be found in homes and in clinics. Low-intensity machines are frequently used to treat chronic conditions, while high-intensity machines are often used to treat acute issues, or to treat livestock and other large animals or patients.

Types of PEMF Therapy

Although there are a set of basics that are common to all PEMF therapy machines, plenty of PEMF therapy companies offer different types of PEMF therapy machines, involving the delivery of the therapy itself, and the combination of PEMF with other therapies. When determining which type of therapy is best for you, it is best to evaluate all possible angles of PEMF therapy and determine how many different components are necessary to effectively delivery aid.

Portable PEMF Devices

Portable PEMF therapy devices are designed to offer PEMF therapy while on the go. Most PEMF therapy requires users to sit still for the duration of treatment, whether they are lying on a mat, wrapping a band around the area in need of help, or applying a wand to ring to an area. Portable PEMF machines can usually be worn, and allow people to receive the benefits of PEMF therapy while they are active. These machines are small and usually relatively weak in their reach, but are ideal for people who experience pain or discomfort primarily during movement.

Multi-Therapy Machines

Multi-therapy machines are among the least common PEMF therapy machines, but can be among the most useful. Some multi-therapy machines combine 4-5 therapies in a single machine, and deliver all therapies simultaneously, while others allow users to select between different therapies, or use certain combinations according to their own preferences. Multi-therapy machines are not necessarily to see results from PEMF, but can be a wonderful way to reap the benefits of PEMF therapy, while engaging other healing modalities.

Single-Therapy Machines

Single-therapy machines are the most common types of PEMF therapy machines, as these machines require companies to merely get one aspect right and produce a machine that delivers PEMF therapy. Single therapy machines can run the gamut, in terms of price and construction, ranging anywhere from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. Single therapy machines can be small, and are almost always the type of machines found in portable devices, or they can be large enough to require special equipment to transport.

FIR-PEMF Combinations

Far Infra Red therapy and PEMF therapy combination machines are another type of PEMF therapy machine that can be used to treat different conditions and serve needs in a single machine. FIR therapy is usually used as a source of pain relief that does not run the risk of forming a habit or causing unwanted symptoms. The powerful pain-relieving effects of FIR therapy, combined with the energy-giving and pain relieving therapy found in PEMF machines can create a powerful compounding effect and increase the efficacy of both FIR and PEMF therapy machines.

Which Type of PEMF Therapy Is Best?

The best PEMF therapy machine will differ from person to person, and depends on the exact needs of any given user, but some machines do stand out among the rest. FIR-PEMF machines are among those stand outs, as they offer two incredibly powerful types of therapy in a single machine, and work synergistically to relieve pain and treat the body.

FIR has a long and proven track record of offering superlative pain relief. FIR has been used in athletes with injuries, individuals with a predilection toward habit formation, and people who are leery of using pharmaceutical interventions for pain relief. Combining FIR with PEMF therapy combines the powerful pain relieving effects of Far Infrared with the anti-inflammatory, energy-inducing power of PEMF therapy, which can be used to target physical aches and pains while also targeting mental health issues and general aging concerns.

Selecting a FIR-PEMF combination machine is also ideal for anyone looking to get the best possible PEMF product at a reasonable price. While some combination therapy machines are extremely expensive, there are FIR-PEMF combination machines on the market that provide the benefits of both therapies without breaking the bank.

Selecting Your PEMF Machine

As is the case with any therapy, selecting the exact machine or company to entrust with your health can be difficult. Understanding what PEMF therapy is and how different machines interact with different ailments and issues will inform how to choose the machine that will best suit your needs. Although there are countless machines currently in production, and many different models and therapy combinations to choose from, some PEMF therapy machines continually rise above the fray, FIR-PEMF therapy combinations among them. No matter which company you select from, few people who utilize FIR-PEMF therapy combinations mats experience want to go back t using one type of therapy without the other. The abilities of both therapies interact with each other to create a powerful pain relief machine that can target a host of maladies, including mental health concerns, acute wounds, and chronic pain and inflammation.

PEMF Therapy Testimonials

In this section we share testimonials that were sent to us by people who tried PEMF therapy from different vendors and via various PEMF devices.

Danielle R.

I had so much trouble studying before I started using PEMF, it was really hard to keep up at college. I tried taking different pills or drinking more caffeine, but it only made me feel more jittery, it took me long to realize that that’s not making me more awake but just more anxious. Then I saw an ad online for PEMF and decided to give it a shot, because I didn’t want to fail my year.

After just one single use I already noticed that I felt much more relaxed and focused. My mind wandered and I was able to think deeply about a subject that was bothering me at the time. After that, I began using PEMF during my study time (I put the mat on the sofa and sit on it) and often before going to sleep as well, since it helps me to fall asleep.

Thank you sooo much! I was so afraid my parents would be mad at me for having bad grades, but now I’m able to study much more efficiently and I’ve improved most of them. They’re proud as well! Of course, I still feel stressed out from time to time, it’s part of life, but it doesn’t mess with my studies.

I’ve been hitting the gym regularly for 4 years now and I noticed that I hit a plateau about six months ago. It’s so frustrating when that happens and you just can’t see any improvement any more. It makes you want to give up since nothing you do is giving you results any longer. I didn’t want to take substances to enhance my power, but since I was constantly complaining to everyone I knew, a gym buddy decided to lend me his PEMF mat. I read PEMF mats can help you lose weight, so I was a bit apprehensive at first, but I thought I’d give it a try, since he’s doing so well.

After two months of using it, the only thing I can say is this is basically a magic mat! I’ve managed to improve my compound exercises weights for about 15% and I’ve noticed other things as well. I managed to reduce my body fat percentage by 3% since I no longer crave junk food and sweets. I have one cheat day a week, so I still eat them then, but I could stop even that if I wanted.

I feel so much stronger, but I’ll take it easy so as not to cause an injury (even though I know PEMF helps there as well), and I’ll notify you how things are developing in the gym in the future.

PEMF has helped me so much with my seasonal affective disorder and I’ve learned that I actually love winter. I suffered from SAD my whole life and I thought that’s just who I am, that I didn’t like winter. But I realized that’s not the case when I started using PEMF that I inherited from my grandma. She used it for joint pain and always said that it did wonders for her.

So, I decided to start using it after I saw some info on Youtube and I am so glad that I have. I still don’t look forward to winter, since it’s so cold here, but my mood stays up all the time. I used to take vitamin D3 regularly, and I still do, which helped a bit as well. I recommend anyone who has this problem not to ignore it and to take both vitamins and PEMF sessions. I went from not wanting to look outside to now sitting next to my window, drinking tea, and enjoying the beautiful snowfall. Things can’t be better.

I read all of these positive stories about PEMF and I have to share my own since I hope it might help someone with the same problem. I am a type 2 diabetic, I was diagnosed 9 years ago and I’ve been taking medicine ever since. As a diabetic, PEMF has helped me with so many things. I work as a chef at my own restaurant, so since I’m very clumsy I manage to cut myself every time our knives arrive from sharpening. Any diabetic will know that a single cut takes weeks to heal, but not anymore. Ever since I’m using PEMF, my cuts heal pretty much within a week. I don’t have to wear plasters any more, I hate them since it’s hard to do anything around the kitchen with them.

I noticed something else as well, even though I work in the kitchen and have to try everything I make, I managed to lose 5 pounds since I started using my mat. It’s not much, but I read other people managed to drop weight as well, so it might be because of that. Anyways, I’ll definitely keep using it and see how things go.

PEMF has helped me so much, I do not know how to thank you all. I wanted to help my country, and I do not regret it a bit, but after I came home, I was diagnosed with PTSD. I was deployed in Iraq from March to November 2015 and I just wasn’t the same after that. I won’t go into too much detail about my experience, I want to focus on PEMF. When I came back from Iraq, I was unable to sleep, unable to relax, I couldn’t focus, or even hold a conversation.

The psychotherapy helped but PEMF really made a big change, both me and my family are so grateful. I’m using it almost every day, if I’m not too busy from work, since I’ve noticed that one hour on the mat is the best for me. I haven’t slept so good in years and I’m feeling so much better overall. In some situations, I still find it hard to completely relax, such as in crowded places, but I couldn’t even leave my home on most of the days before I started the therapy.

I’ve already recommended it to all the guys that served with me and have the same problem, so I hope I’ll be able to help even more people this way as well.

My multiple sclerosis is a lot better since I started doing PEMF therapy, thank you all for the advice you’ve given me. The doctors told me that I won’t be able to walk in a couple of years, but I don’t blame them since they didn’t know what I knew. At first, my symptoms only included tingling, numbness, burning or cold sensations, but then things got worse and worse. When I was diagnosed with MS I felt devastated because I love running and exploring the outdoors. When they told me I might not be able to walk in a couple of years, I decided to try everything, I never give up easily. PEMF was among those things and I am basically as good as new now. I still keep taking my medicine, I don’t want to take any chances, since you never know with MS, but my relief came from PEMF. It was hard for me to have controlled movements with my feet and the burning and pain was too hard to bear sometimes. Now, I only sometimes feel some light tingling or numbness but it’s so much better than before. If anyone has the same problem, my routine consists of an hour-long PEMF session, and then I do light exercising and stretching, and make sure to take my medication. I still run and hike regularly and I plan on keeping it that way!

The reason why I bought PEMF therapy was open-angle glaucoma which was threatening to take my vision away. I believe that the only reason I am able to write this today is because of PEMF so it’s my way of saying thank you. Luckily, my glaucoma didn’t become too bad before I noticed it since I was taking regular eye tests due to other eye-related health issues. I started experiencing loss in my peripheral vision, first in one eye and then the other one as well. My treatment included eye drops, specifically Xalatan and then beta blockers were included as well through Istalol. The next step was surgery but I wanted to try PEMF before that since I didn’t have anything to lose.

I can’t be happier that I tried it since I am sure it has saved my eyes and also saved me from having to go through complicated surgery. I no longer take any medicine, but I still take regular eye exams since I don’t know if the symptoms are going to come back. As long as my IOP is low, I know I’m doing right. Thanks a lot!

I have been using PEMF for over 90 days now and I want to let everyone know my conclusions and results. I use PEMF for my epilepsy, which I have been suffering from since I was 7 years old, I’m 26 now. My attacks were sometimes mild and sometimes very aggressive, but I’ve managed to control them successfully with medication. However, the medication also came with side effects. In my case, I felt fatigued all the time, anxious, and dizzy from time to time if I took the medicine with no food. Please consult your doctor before using PEMF because I’ve consulted mine and she gave me a green light to give it a try. As I’ve mention, I’ve been using PEMF for 90 days now and I’ve been slowly reducing my medication. All of the side effects are pretty much gone, even though I still fill fatigue on some days, but that might be because of different reasons. Most importantly, I have not had any attacks or symptoms of epilepsy ever since I’m using PEMF, so it looks like it’s working well so far. If anything changes I’ll let you know, but I am so happy that this is happening to me, since I can finally focus more on my obligations and I don’t have to take naps so often any more.

Hi everyone, I’ve had such a hard time both falling asleep or having any quality sleep during night for years now. My job is quite stressful, so that might be what caused my insomnia. I started doing therapy and my doctor prescribed medication which helped me sleep but didn’t help me rest. Whenever I slept with medication, I’d wake up even more tired somehow, insomnia is really horrible. That’s when my therapist actually recommended me to try PEMF and I don’t know how to thank him enough. I’ve been going to sessions every other day after my work for half an hour and I haven’t had a sleepless night ever since. I am planning to buy my own device as well, since it’s becoming hard to work the sessions into my schedule. I think the best one for me would be one with a recovery mode and a biorhythm clock, so I’m open for any recommendations.

Pedro P.

I’m an old man so I didn’t expect much from PEMF, I thought that my son has wasted money buying it, but I see that I was so wrong. I am 82 years old and you’d expect a seasoned guy like me to have joint pain and trouble standing up and walking. I thought it was normal and got used to living like that, but I know better now. I had constant pain, especially in my knees and hips, but it was the worst when I was standing up or trying to walk up stairs. I felt relief after the first session. I felt warmth in my joints and my muscles relaxed as well, the pain subsided as well. I don’t feel like 20 years old again, but my joints are definitely 20 years younger. I can walk now without my cane, even though the stairs are still a problem in the morning, but overall the pain is mostly gone.

Barbara R.

My sleep has improved greatly since I started using PEMF. I have been struggling with it ever since I started my current job, which is very stressful, but changing it is not an option for me. I bought a PEMF device after a recommendation from an acquaintance and at first used it only right before sleep. After I read more online and learned more about the therapy, I started using the recovery mode during my sleep and the benefits were even greater.

Not only do I fall asleep much more easily, but I also stay asleep throughout the night. No more waking up in the middle of the night and browsing social media until I become sleepy again. I haven’t slept this well in years and it’s showing in my personal life as well. I’m much less stressed out, I can focus much better, and I have so much more energy throughout the day.

I advise everyone not to go for sleep pills, but instead choose PEMF, since I haven’t experienced any side effects from it. At first, it was strange to get used to the warming sensations that I felt in the body, but now that is the best part of it!

PEMF helps with cervical osteoarthritis, I can tell you that much from experience. A big thank you to everyone who helped me realize that and helped me live pain-free again. My mornings were just horrible before I started with PEMF therapy, I could barely move my neck at all until I managed to warm it up somehow. I also used to take prescription medicine to relax the muscles, which I don’t take any more since I rarely feel like I need them.

From my experience, the best way to go about PEMF therapy for cervical osteoarthritis is to use it two times a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening or before the sleep. I’ve experimented with a lot of approaches during these 9 months that I’ve been using it and this has been the best for me. In the morning, PEMF warms up my muscles, relaxes them, and allows them to relax fully. I used to have trouble sleeping as well, because of the neck stiffness, but now I have an hour-long session just before sleep, which relaxes both my muscles and my mind. There’s no need to suffer from these symptoms any more than you have to, I learned that the harder way, but I am so thankful for PEMF today.

I went to a PEMF session for my thyroid and adrenal glands after reading about it extensively online and consulting with my doctor. Since then, I was able to reduce my medication in half, and it’s only been a bit more than a month since I started using it. You need to be careful, though, since when I started doing PEMF sessions my sleep soon deteriorated because the medication I was taking became too strong, that’s how I knew that the dose had to be cut in half, and my doctor agreed. Now I’m sleeping 8 hours easily every night again.

My hypothyroidism also led to significant weight gain, which I’m confident PEMF can help me out with as well. I’ve already lost around 5 pounds during the first month, which is both a result of a normalized thyroid and PEMF therapy, I believe. I also feel a lot less brain fog and my energy levels are going back to normal, which means I can accomplish so much more now in my day to day life. I also don’t feel cold at all like I felt before, which was a big issue in our house since I had to keep the AC way too high, which made everyone else in the house too hot. I’m sure this is something everyone with hypothyroidism can relate to.

I still have some way to go before I am able to completely cut out medication and I have a lot more weight to lose, so I’ll continue using PEMF and see how it goes.

I feel like a free man once again after years. I’m free from pain, from therapy, and from medication! Plus, I can go on bike rides once again which I thought would never be possible again.

I realize now that waiting for 2 years to start using PEMF was way too long. I had a bike crash in 2015, when I was descending a local mountain in heavy rain and I slammed my back on the guardrail. The pain was excruciating and all the physical therapy and medication made it just slightly better, but I could always feel that the problem was still there. Riding my bicycle again was out of question for two years, since anything more than a couple of miles of pedaling made the situation worse.

My first experience with PEMF was by accident and I think God has shown it to me. I went to accompany a friend of mine to a PEMF therapy who was using it successfully to battle his high blood pressure. After talking casually to the practitioner he told me that PEMF was actually great for back pain and let me try it for free since I was there. I felt almost immediate relief, the sensation was very strange but very pleasing. The tension in my back loosened up and I felt warmth travelling along my spine.

Of course, I came back to the second session, and the third, and so on… I have had 23 sessions so far and I have been riding my bike to the last seven! I haven’t yet tried doing long distance, but since my back feels so much better already, I plan to give it a try soon enough since I feel confident I’m on the path to recovery.

My knees gave up on me, I couldn’t get out of car, stand up from a chair or a sofa, or do anything that involved squatting. I have a history of very bad knee cartilage in my family, so I wasn’t surprised by it, but since I’m 53 years old, I thought it was too early for the problem to start developing now. Now, however the situation with my knees is so much better since I began my PEMF journey.

Both of my knees were sore all the time, cold and stiff, and they’d crack whenever I stand up. Sometimes they cracked so loud that people around me could hear it and they’d give me worried looks. I began using direct application right above my knee caps three weeks ago and my knees already feel much younger.  What’s most important, I don’t feel that I have a knee issue in my mind anymore, since I always limited myself because I knew I had a problem. I am much more mobile and agile right now, I can climb stairs without any problems, whereas before I could only do it if I held on the rails and helped with my hands. Of course, three weeks is not enough in my opinion to make a definite conclusion, I still avoid kneeling or crouching too much, but overall my condition has improved significantly, so I am very grateful.

Sherrill J.

As someone who has suffered from severe chronic headaches, I can tell you that PEMF is awesome. It did it for me and it will probably do it for you. I am very passionate today when I talk about PEMF because I really think it deserves it, since it has given me back my quality of life, I consider myself to be an advocate.

I suffered from migraines for 5-6 years probably and took migraine medication and painkillers for a good portion of the time, even though they did me more bad than good. They only act temporarily and they have a lot of side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, mood swings, which I have experienced personally. Then I decided enough was enough and first went to several PEMF sessions at a local clinic, and after that finally decided to buy a PEMF mat for myself.

I decided to get one with gemstones, since it combined both the effects of far infrared therapy and PEMF therapy, and both of them are important for migraines and regular headaches. I used to have migraines weekly, sometimes a couple of times a week, depending on how stressful my week was. They started becoming weaker and weaker and gradually decreased in frequency as well. Now I am mostly cured from migraine, as I only get a slight headache once in a couple of months, but that’s a normal part of life. However, I haven’t had a real migraine attack in years.

So, if you are suffering from the same issues, please consider PEMF before painkillers, as it is a much safer and a more efficient option in my opinion. I am very thankful for it.

I love PEMF therapy and my PEMF mat, but the problem I have is that I cannot use it as much as I should. I have time to use it just a couple of times a week, but I believe consistency and persistence is key when it comes to this therapy. However, considering how inconsistent I am with keeping with the routine, I have seen some great benefits. I bought it for a couple of its known benefits such as high blood pressure, bad circulation, and high blood sugar, which are all problems I have had before.

I can now happily say that all of these are much better in my case. My blood pressure has gone from 160/110 to 140/90 and sometimes drops down even to 130/85, and all that without taking medication. I still have my medication with me just in case, but I haven’t really needed it since.

My circulation is much better as well and I don’t feel like my hands and feet are freezing cold anymore. I use local application for these, but even when I’m lying on the mat I can almost feel how the warm blood flows to every part of my body. It’s a very pleasing sensation. At first, it was strange as I felt slight tingling, but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all.

And finally, my blood sugar has been pretty much within the normal limits for the past three weeks. I am still taking my medication, but it hasn’t been this stable in years. I am going to my endocrinologist for a regular checkup tomorrow and I plan to ask him to cut down my medication, I’m pretty sure he’ll oblige as the results are undeniable.

I used PEMF before my pregnancy for stress and depression, but I decided to make a pause when I learned I was going to have a baby. Even though there aren’t any proofs that it’s bad during pregnancy, some manufacturers don’t advise it until there is sufficient evidence, so I didn’t want to take any chances. Luckily, my depression and anxiety did not come back and I am certain they won’t ever, with this beautiful and healthy child that I have now.

However, I gained a lot of weight during pregnancy, which was in part probably a result of stopping my PEMF sessions, as they’ve helped me control my weight before. I gained 40 pounds in pregnancy, which was much more than the recommended 20 pounds. But, I knew that I had a PEMF as a back plan, so I didn’t worry too much about it. As soon as I left the hospital after pregnancy, I started using PEMF once again. Of course, as I expected, my weight started going down week after week and I was back to my normal weight after about 5 months of regular sessions. Also, I don’t know if this is related, but I didn’t have issues with my milk supply, which I know a lot of mothers have to deal with. If you have this problem, try it out, and you might be able to confirm my theory.
